Belly PIctures

Since I've been pregnant, I have not been too avid about taking pictures of myself, or seeing myself in any pictures for that matter. I find that when I look in the mirror, I look totally normal. Maybe a little plumper in some areas ie. the face, arms, butt, legs, hands and feet, but I feel normal. However.... once I have a picture taken, my world gets shaken by disgust. DO I REALLY LOOK LIKE THAT?!?!?!! DAAAAANNNNGGGG!!!! I just don't understand how a camera can seem to capture every chin that's hiding and make my face look even more plump and round. This has been the cause of very few pregnancy pictures and even less with my face included in the picture.
This is at about 29 weeks.

This is around 34 weeks. Please disregard the hideous double chin.

This is 36 weeks.
As you can see my fingers look like tootsie rolls. They are huge... along with my feet...

Pregnancy is awesome though. Although I no longer have ankles, my fingers and feet have doubled in size, and I no longer have any feeling in my fingertips...it is so much fun feeling our little girl move all over, pushing out her cute little bum... (at the last Dr. apt we were told her exact position and she's ready to head out...) Nate and I are SO excited for her to come into the world so we can play with her!

  1. Just remember it's all worth it!! The swelling and tingling and numbness and peeing like crazy and being uncomfortable all the time...it all goes away eventually and you are gonna be left with a cute little baby! I'm glad my pregnancy problems were cut short by 4 weeks though. But, unfortunately for me, as I'm sure you may have heard, some people's feet grow during pregnancy...and now most of my shoes either are super tight or are just too painful to even wear anymore. Sad. I have been wearing flip flops for the past few months and just tried on my nike's on wednesday when it was kinda cold for sandals and to my dismay they didn't fit anymore...so I guess, not everything can go back to normal size after delivering...

  2. Well, I still say there is no one that can swell up like me...I am pretty sure I could be put in the genius book of world records for the world's most swollen pregnant lady! I think you look great though and I can't believe you are almost done that is so exciting! I will say apart from having the baby, the best part of post delivery is seeing your ankles again...give it a couple days after you deliver and you will think that you have the most beautiful ankles in the world and you will never take them forgranted again! :)

  5. OMG! FINALLY! I am so excited I finally get to see your beautiful face, and gorgeous tummy. You look amazing! You are being way to critical on yourself. When we talked on the phone I thought you were going to look like a monster, but you are still so tiny. I can't believe you, decieving me like that. It looks like you still fit into all your old pants. Your face, butt, and legs all look the same to me...tiny and firm. Your fingers...a little bigger (definitely not tootie rolls, although I loved that comment) . You need to give yourself a break, you are carrying another human being in you. Plus, you are going to be right back to your normal self as soon as your give birth. How could you not? You will be dancing circles around her, full of joy that she is finally here. I wish I was with you. Miss you so much and love the world out of you.
p.s. I promise you look fantastic.
